Poison Oak
Today a young man, age 24 came to the BioSET clinic with a severe case of poison oak. He was completely covered with the rash. He said " I am spreading this over my entire body" I am sure most of you think that what he is saying is true, that you can continuously spread the rash. But this is not true !!
Basically the rash doesn't appear until after the oil is absorbed into your skin. Once you get the rash, you can't spread it around by scratching. The reason most people think it will spread is because of secondary infection. You touch a poison oak plant, the oil is on your hands, you rub your face, and it gets there. The oil is spread. After a bit of time, there isn't as much oil to spread around, so some parts are more heavily comtaminated than others. And therefore the rash appears soon in some spots, and takes a couple of days to appear in other spots. This gives the illusion that you've spread the rash by scratching or whatever. Just make sure you aren't getting a brand-new infection from your clothing. Whenever you go hiking, as soon as ]you get home put all my clothes, shoes, everything in a bag, and wash it all. You can avoid poison oak through extreme precaustion. And remember the dogs may be carrying the oil on their hair or body. Read more about poison oak, and become informed. paranoa with poison oak is good.
BioSET does clear poison oak in most cases with one clearing. And there are a few enzymes that BioSET practitioners recommend immediately to reduce the inflammation. MicroMiracles has some good suggestions of these enzymes Have these enzymes on hand.

Treatment of Asthma & Allergies
Since I had written about the phenomenal results with complementary medicine for allergies, I have come across many articles on this topic. One such article appeared in Medscape titled "A Role for Complementary and Alternative Therapies in Patient Care". It states that one of the most common areas for CAM is allergies. And often the therapy prescribed are supplements with herbal ingredients. But one caveat is that these herbal ingredients may give an allergic response. There is much more information in this particular article, but before I review it any further I do want people to know that there is a system, BioSET which offers a natural, non-invasive mostly permanent allergy desensitization. It is slowly gaining more popularity. BioSET has about 4-500 calls a day for referrals for pracititoners. BioSET is practiced by health care providers all over the world and is safe, and successful with allergies as well as other health disorders. Check out the website. Please, don't get caught up in the misery of conventional allergy treatment, try something new and innovative. http://www.bioset.net/

Rise of allergies worldwide.
It appears that allergic disease is an important issue worldwide. The incidence of allergies is rising and they present in different ways such as sinusitis and ear infections ,asthma, headaches, food allergies, skin allergies such as eczema, and hives. The increasing incidence of allergies and asthma has not been completely explained but may be due to many factors. Factors contributing to the increasing asthma prevalence may include home and office construction and resulting allergen exposures, as well as poor digestion, food allergies, poor food choices, and increasing obesity and, outdoor and indoor air quality. I believe the health care providers need to look into lifestyle changes to change the trend of the increasing occurence of allergies. People are frustrated with the treatment options for allergies and asthma. The results are poor, they are temporary and the side effects are more than one can bare. Let's finally turn the attention to common sense life style changes. It is easy, fun and you have one side effect- FEELING GOOD !! AND NO MORE ALLERGIES !!See treatment of allergies and asthma

Allergies and the natural way
I just finished listening to a segment on allergies on a national TV morning show. It is time that the natural way to prevent and treat allergies are supported and publicized. I have been listening year after year from so called experts in this area of allergies, about their nebulous understanding and ineffective treatments for allergies. There is a natural approach that natural doctors all over the world know about and recommend. These natural approaches do not cause side effects, such as drowsiness, fatigue, lack of focus and poor attention for work and school activities. I know for a fact that just taking a digestive enzyme will reduce allergies, and reducing sugar intake will add to the beneficial effects. This will prevent the allergy symptoms and work to reduce them during allergy season. It is time that people know and hear about this. And I also have BioSET that works with those stubborn allergies, -natural, non invasive allergy elimination. I hope more people can learn and hear this.

One step allergy relief
Those of you who are suffering from hay fever type allergies, try taking a digestive enzyme with each meal, reduce your sugars in half and eat less. I know that you will have relief. Sugars I mean cereals, added sugar, bagels, breads, rice, fruit, dairy products, and any candy.

Teenagers and Diets
I came across an article today on the detrimental effects of the fad diet craze with teenagers, focusing on losing weight and staying thin.
Teaching our children the correct dietary habits from day 1 is the key to avoiding dietary fads and food eating disorders. That is why it must begin at home with the parents. If children and teenagers see parents eating wrongly, how can we expect them to eat differently. Lessons on diet and nutrition should begin in kindergarten. Children can learn and understand why we eat somethings and don’t eat others. Why we try to avoid pesticides, and food additives. processed foods, trans fats and sugar laden food. And what a balanced, healthy meal looks like.
Craving foods can be alleviated with taking a digestive enzyme before meals. Digesting your foods and consequently utilizing the nutrients provide satiety for your body, so the craving can desist. Learn good dietary habits - eat more organic, eat more raw food and eat less sugar, carbs and artificial ingredient. Many of these problems we see with our teenagers, which also includes obesity can be prevented.

Sensitive to fiber
As you all know, i am a real advocate of digestive enzymes. In fact i would never leave home without them, not eat a meal without taking this micromiracles. But occasionally some people who are sensitive to fiber may get a little bloated with the capsule of a vegetarian enzyme. So what I have discovered, and exciting,is to open the capsule up and sprinkle it on your food and put in water and drink it right before you eat. The bloating you may have experienced will be gone. Eventually you may be able to take the enzyme in the capsule, but for now this is an alternative. By the way it doesn't taste badly at all.

The not so sweet side of jelly beans
Jelly beans had a resurgence in the 80's with our former president Ronald Reagan and his love for this sugar treats. And can you believe that during Easter, 15 billion of these little guys are sold and eaten. Besides the fact they are loaded with sugar, they also are loaded with food coloring and food additives.
Food coloring, sugar and additives can cause reactions in children with sinusitis, otitis media, asthma and ADHD. If your child is having a hard time today, it might very well be those jelly beans. What can you do?
In the future, I recommend trying to reduce the stress load on the child, (load phenomenon), before and during Easter. I talk about this in my books. Eat a more balanced nutritious diet, exercise, and get the right amount of sleep, and keep your house dust and mold free as much as possible. Then perhaps eating these treats will not cause the undo stress and aberrant behavior and inflammation.

Snoring may be a dietary factor
Two people today asked me about snoring. is there anything natural that can be done?. I have found that deceasing yeast products or foods that promote yeast can often be a solution. Trying a candida diet, or yeast free diet is worth trying. But it needs to be done for at least two weeks to see results. On a yeast free diet, one should avoid carbohdyrates, no grains at all, no breads, cereals, yeast, vinegar, cheese, sugar, fermented foods (no sugar at all ) and enjoy a diet of vegetables (watch the sugar veggies) and protein. Nuts that are roasted, (no salt) is a better choice than raw nuts. Don't eat food that is not fresh and eat less food at a meal. Take a digestive enzyme. If you are craving the sugar, what I recommend is take a carbohydrate digestive enzyme when you are craving, it can trick you mind into thinking you just ate sugar. It sounds strange, but works for some. You also may try a detoxification program along with this diet, may be helpful as well.
I have some other recommendations in MicroMiracles. Say goodbye to snoring and hello to a good night sleep. Sweet dreams.

Teenage and Spirituality
I wanted to share this person, Mimi Doe and this book with you. Having a teenage daughter can ruffle your feathers at times. I love her more than I can express, and having brought up a son, who is now 27, I thought I was quite experienced. But I have been a bit shocked at the difference a teenage girl is in her growth than my son.
This book is helping me discover my compassion as a mother and a friend. I found this book just last month, and have been overwhelmed by what it has to offer. I realize now my daughter is a spiritual, loving and sensitive being, who yearns for that verification with the closest person she knows, her mother. I am only halfway through this book, but I wanted to share the joy and excitement I have experienced in my relationship with my daughter Gabby, since I began reading. Realizing how divine and perfect her experience is as a teenager and how lovely she is in all her expressions, I can appreciate these special moments we have together. Some are challenging, yes but they are all just perfect like a flower that is blossoming.
If you have teenagers and would like to learn more about their soul, and their journey, I highly recommend this book And check out Mimi’s website as well.
